Twenty-five years of shipping things: web platforms, photo software, seven books, a bike-recovery network — and now three startups at once.
Newsletters, blog posts, social — the communication every startup needs, and no founder has time to keep up. sospoke keeps them going: your voice, your channels, on schedule. Born from my own struggle to do exactly this at 529.
A calmer, kinder social network for women. No algorithm, no trolls — just women, talking honestly.
Find your next long walk — multi-day journeys like the Camino, for people who’d rather end the day with a hot dinner and a real bed than a tent and a protein bar.

Co-founder & CEO. Project 529 built the 529 Garage — a global bike registration and recovery platform taking on the $400M-a-year bike theft epidemic through partnerships between riders, shops, and law enforcement. The Garage recovers stolen bikes every single day, and helped drive bike theft in Vancouver down by more than 60%. I retired from 529 this spring, leaving it in the capable hands of the team.
In between software careers: a decade as a commercial and editorial photographer specializing in food. Seven books of my own, a shelf more shot for other authors, and work in the Wall Street Journal, Imbibe, and beyond. Portfolio · Books
