Learning Food Styling at a Distance?
The University of Central Lancaster offers a 3 semester and part-time distance learning course on food styling. Delivered over WebCT, the class aims to give students the ability to investigate food styling at a Masters degree level. Tuition is £290 per class for part-time students, or £3130 for full-time (or for overseas students).
If anyone has taken distance classes on food photography or styling and has an opinion on how well they work, I’d love to know. From my one experience with the plating & presentations class, I can’t imagine learning without having someone there giving hands-on demonstrations and tips.
